Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Butter purchases, including purchases of Bread, Butter’s in-app currency.

1. About Bread

Bread is Butter’s virtual in-app currency. Users may purchase Bread using real money, such as USD, through the Apple App Store.

Bread may be used inside Butter to unlock or purchase eligible digital items, features, cosmetics, or other in-app content.

Bread has no cash value, is not a bank account or stored-value account, and cannot be exchanged, transferred, sold, or redeemed for real money.

2. Purchases Are Processed by Apple

Butter does not directly process payments for in-app purchases made through the iOS app.

All purchases of Bread made in the Butter iOS app are processed by Apple through the App Store. This means your payment method, receipt, billing information, taxes, and refund request are handled by Apple.

3. Refund Requests

Because Butter purchases are processed by Apple, refund requests must be submitted through Apple’s refund system.

To request a refund, go to Apple’s Report a Problem page, sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase, select the Butter purchase, and choose the refund option.

Butter cannot guarantee that Apple will approve a refund. Apple reviews refund requests according to its own policies, rules, and eligibility requirements.

4. Digital Purchases and Virtual Currency

Except where required by law or approved by Apple, purchases of Bread and digital items are final and non-refundable.

This includes situations where Bread has already been used to unlock, purchase, or access digital content inside Butter.

If Apple approves a refund for a Bread purchase, Butter may remove the refunded Bread from your account. If the refunded Bread was already used, Butter may remove or disable the digital items, features, cosmetics, or content obtained with that Bread.

5. Accidental Purchases

If you believe a purchase was accidental, unauthorized, or made by mistake, please submit a refund request through Apple as soon as possible.

Butter does not have the ability to reverse Apple App Store charges directly.

6. Technical Issues

If you purchased Bread but did not receive it, or if something is not working properly, please contact us first so we can try to help.
